Yeah - I'm liking this quite well. There is really nothing wrong with it. Although, for me Daddy, the minor chord whammy's are fine, but I could use a straight country rock beat once in a while, rather than shuffle drums all the time.

Saw them in Nashville last night. Here's the set list. I didn't realize they were opening up for Tourpike Troubadours. Crowd was absolutely lame. 90% of the guys were wearing baseball hats with madras short sleeve button down's. I though i was in a timewarp ten years back.

Probably only 10 people were there for Old 97s. Felt bad for them. It appeared Rhett was changing the set list on the fly to keep it more upbeat due to the lame crowd response.

This cd is such a wonderful return to form. After so many fails I love how the Old 97s really nailed this one.

:idea: It's like Boomtown Rats crossing back to England-ish The Pogues kindo style well not on my top 5 but still well spent bucks I'd say!
