This is Mellencamp’s 23rd full-length album, featuring Carlene Carter.

Looking forward to this album.

A few things:

1. Why does Cougs have Tom Waits singing on his album
2. I think the 8 albums of his I already have is all I need
3. I've had enough of all the political songs out there

Mellencamp is an artist that gets better with age. His last 4-5 albums are much better than anything he's done earlier in his career.

I stand corrected, got a chance to listen to the full album and picked up Plain Spoken in a bargain bin recently and like both(especially the new one.) The only song I don't really care for is the one posted above, maybe that set me back

My favorites so far:

:boohoo: My only disregarding annoyance with his latest one it's lacking artwork either than that it's sounding blasty and fullo emotions! Bravo John hopefully you'll make another like this one soon! 8)
