I've had this for a while and haven't fully listened to the whole album. Like what I've heard - just need to give it some time.

I like it, but I'm not listening to it as much as I once would have. Great Tiny Desk Concert here: http://www.npr.org/event/music/54584429 ... sk-concert

He's even up for a CMA for best album. 2017 is weird.

I'm surprised this hasn't been posted already. Isbell is usually a fave in these parts.

I like this album a lot. I thought it was OK during my first listen but I like it better every time I play it (which is frequently). No bad songs, some rockers and a couple of classics. I've only really gotten into Isbell in the last year or so but I rank this one right up there with his best work.
There is a thread in the borrowed tune section that didn't gain much traction. Good to see the recent "surge" of activity on here!

It is super weird! Especially since I don't think it's even close to his best work.

Yeah, this makes me kinda pissy. I wonder if he will show.

Isbell is the consummate professional. I'm pretty sure he's writing these songs in his sleep now. Not fair that it seems to come so easy. And this is a damn fine album.

I agree this is not his best work, but an enjoyable record all the same. I'm hoping to see him in London in October.

I'm taking my time with this one. Really savoring each track, not rushing things so I can really get the fine nuances of this album.

So far I played few samples from Amazon and nopes doesn't come any near his rockiness of his first two albums, I don't know about ye guys, but I think parenthood is taking its toll on Jason! It's certainly an improvement from his previous two efforts but not enough kinda lame really!

 It didn't do anything for me, it's about time he rolls up his sleeves and play with a more rock&roll attitude!
