Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie - Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie - 06.09.17

When I saw Fleetwood Mac back in November 2014, Christine McVie was with the band after a 16-year absence. There was supposed to be another Fleetwood Mac album, but this is not going to happen. I guess there were some issues with Stevie Nicks. Who knows. So the closest thing to a Mac album is a Buckingham/McVie duet album where they are joined by both Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. The album should still be interesting.

Track Listing

1. “Sleeping Around The Corner”
2. “Feel About You”
3. “In My World”
4. “Red Sun”
5. “Love Is Here To Stay”
6. “Too Far Gone”
7. “Lay Down For Free”
8. “Game Of Pretend”
9. “On With The Show”
10. “Carnival Begin”

This seems like it could be good, but if I ever try to get away with wearing jeans that fucking tight at my age, never mind his age . . . please kill me.

Could have been worse if they had repeated the Buckingham-Nicks album cover.

They each get their turn.

He's hands down the hottest 67 year former rock star on Earth. Springsteen is close, but I'm giving the nod to Lindsey.

I just listened to this today It´s pleasant enough with only two songs that one could call clunkers. But at the same time there are no stand out tracks, nothing that makes you go wow. Just pleasant enough.

Listened to this one again today and it's still a pleasant album. Certainly better than nothing.

Too bad that Nicks backed out of the project to work on a supposed solo album that's yet to manifest. Can't say I'm surprised Buckingham had no interest in touring again.
