nothing. i'm waiting for something to really bowl me over. it's been a long time since a record just knocked me out.

prince is in the car stereo but, aside from going to and from work, i'm not driving much. somebody throw some suggestions my way, as i'm going back and forth to seattle a couple of times next week and will need some driving music.

"Sands of Iwo Jima", Drive By Truckers -- just read that Charles W. Lindberg passed away -- he was one of the original flag raisers at Iwo Jima (not the "staged" photo)

Always loved the poignancy of this song -- had to fire it up tonight. I think I've seen George A. on several documentaries -- unless there were multiple George A.'s from Alabama. Regardless, a huge thank you to George A. and Charles W. Lindberg (not the Spirit of the Lou pilot) and the rest that were there. "I never saw John Wayne on the Sands of Iwo Jima". Damn.
I am a fine line between clever and stupid.

Our Love To Admire-Interpol

The whole album, can't pick any one song since the whole thing kicks so much ass. Two weeks going and this album has yet to leave my player. Interpol is the only band that gets the whole Joy Division/New Order/Cure thing down, the best new rock band to come along this decade. Sharp dressers too!
