Been away for a few days. Turns out like my little dude—Buck Morton Adams, born 2/11/11—was on the way sooner than expected. Six weeks early, but doing amazingly and in great care. Mom is recovering well as well.
All is right with the world....except for the speeding ticket I got this morning. No one on the road. On 99 percent of the speedlimits on the Sawmill and the Hudson Parkway are 50. However, unbeknownst to me, just after getting onto the Hudson going north i get pulled over by an unmarked. Turns out for a small stretch by Fort Tryon Park it is 35 mph. Where sat mr unmarked with a laser gun getting me at 55, which is the effective speed limit for the 50 mph that most of the route is. I can't believe that with empty roads, ole grandpa driver himself gets a damned speeding ticket. And I don't give a Flying Damn!
