I can't quite pinpoint why, but this sounds familiar.

Don't shoot me, but Jubilee Dive isn't that bad. "Hummalong" and "September's High" are killer tunes.

Children by the millions sing for Alex Chilton when he come round
They sing Im in love Whats that song Im in love with that song

That which forces the breath into your lungs when all is lost and your path is dark is your glimmer of hope

To be fair, I suspect we've collectively had more fun out of Brent failing to deliver than we would have from an actual album.

I never understood all the Drams hate on here. Obviously Jubille Dive was a very polished album, and very different from the Slobberbone material, but I think it was intended to be. Regardless of the production, there are some great power pop songs on that record. It had a nice Beatles-Jayhawks-Big Star vibe.

I hear what your saying. But the shAme of this is this cd would be really good. Think a dark Richard Buckner style.

"this cd WOULD be really good?" Are you saying Brent will not be getting us CDs? :clap2:

Probably should have had a better system than "I swear it was all written down on these chalupa wrappers in fire sauce!"

I heard the delay with the Brent Best album is that he was going to Manti Te'o's girlfriend's funeral
