Chuck Ragan - Biltmore Cabaret, Vancouver, BC - December 20, 2014

This was Chuck's last show of 2014. The Camaraderie was absent on this so called "Canadian tour", dubbed "2014 Winter Haul Canadian Tour" with stops in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver, all in the span of a week.

Chuck was supposed to play for an hour and finish at 10:30 because the venue turns into a dance party with deejays. Chuck went on to play until 11:05 pm and ending his show with The Pogues' "Fairytale of New York". (with Kandle's keyboardist)

There were two openers (why?), Indian Affairs (4-song set) and Kandle, based out of Montreal (terrible music). Kandle Osborne (lead singer) is the daughter of 54-40 frontman Neil Osborne and from Victoria, B.C.

Chuck is a truly genuine performer and loves playing for his fans, many of them punk rockers from those "Hot Water Music" days. There was one young girl with lime green hair that couldn't have been more than 25 years old at the front of the stage. Chuck got her to come up on stage and sing with him at the end of the show. I believe that Chuck gave her his harmonica and harmonica neck holder at the end of the show.
