"The French Inhaler", "Hasten Down The Wind", Mohammed's Radio", "Backs Turned Looking Down The Path" and "Sleep When I'm Dead" from the "Warren Zevon" album are five I see from that masterpiece of an album that are missing.
"Boom Boom Mancini" is a great storytelling song from "Sentimental Hygiene".
ALso a fun song is "Hit Somebody (The Hockey Song) about a hockey goon who always wished he were a scorer and getting his only goal in his final game. It was co written by sports writer Mitch Albom and David Letterman has a cameo as the rowdy fan who yells "hit somebody". Thats On "My Ride's Here".To fill out the list here are the other 4 not previously named:

Jeannie Needs A Shooter
Bad Karma
Accidentally Like A Martyr

I think Warren was one of our generations best singer/songwriters and he was commercially ignored and is sorely missed.

Sorry Taney that you never got into him. Any specific reason why?
Lets do the right thing, just because it feels wrong.

sorry, incorrect again.

the irony of that statement is too overwhelming, man.

"no need to try and put me down" - from the guy whose stock and trade is giving people shit about what they do and don't listen to. come on, taney. take a joke.

How could you not love Warren Zevon?

You can also get the tribute album that came out in 2004 :

Enjoy Every Sandwich: The Songs of Warren Zevon

Springsteen had this to say about the late great Warren, "one of the great, great American songwriters".

I went through a Warren Zevon phase last year. The album Excitable Boy is absolutely awesome start to finish and contains most of the songs people have already mentioned.

Springsteen mentioned as he inducted Jackson Browne into the R&R Hall of Fame, the if Brian Wilson was the "Adam" of California music then Jackson Browne was is faithful son Abel, in which case "Cain" would probably be Warren Zevon.

I always thought that was pretty funny, and pretty apt.

Lobe Warren. Some good shouts but I'm kinda drawn to some of his wonderfully self-deprecating love songs. I notice that a compilation of such is now available, although it criminally lacks The Heartache.

So let's hear it for:
I'll Slow You Down
She's Too Good For Me
Accidentally Like a Martyr
Reconsider Me (I tried covering this once but couldn't get near Warren's pathos and so left it alone)
