I'm just thankful my wife was unsuccessful in her attempt to purchase Adele tickets.

As an opposite to the abover...

Mrs. Rusty surprised me over the holidays with tickets to see Wilco next Tuesday in Burlington, VT!! This will be a first time Wilco experience for both of us.

You have to understand that we NEVER go to live music anymore. Its been years since we've seen a legit concert in a hall, theater or arena. We almost never even go out to local music.

But....a co-worker of hers ended up with 2 extra seats and my darling wife grabbed them up for us! Outstanding surprise.

That's awesome. I've seen Wilco a bunch of times, and they always put on a great show.

Going to see Wilco tomorrow night - our neighbor had tix, but the husband came down with pneumonia so we bought them. Will dip them in Purell first.

Really, this is just to help Noodle realize that he has never seen Wilco. Or purchased tickets from a neighbor with pneumonia.

William Tyler opening - not familiar with his stuff. Worth getting there on time?

NO!

1/2 hour of instrumental guitar noodling. He's a fine player but I would expect to see him in the corner of a local Vermont bar, not on stage opening for Wilco.

The Wilco show was great though. The closing acoustic set is killer.

^Thanks, abover. That leaves us more time for cocktails beforehand then.
