Re: What shows are you attending in 2016?
It was a good show, first time I have seen them. They opened with some Star Wars stuff that the audience did not get fully behind, but once they got into the back catalog things got more interesting. Nels noodles a bit too much for my liking, but Impossible Germany was fantastic. Who is the other lead guitarist?
Downside was some fucking wacko female security guard that I came close to punching. The Capitol removed the seats on the floor, so it was standing only. My wife and I are somewhat height-challenged so we stood on a staircase near the VIP section. A guard there said it would be fine. After a few songs, his boss came ("Pat") and yelled at us to get off the stairs, that it was a fire hazzard. We moved a bit and the first guard again said we were fine. In a little bit Pat came back and grabbed my wife's arm hard enough to hurt her and said that "I told you to move!". I yelled at her to not fucking touch my wife and get out of my face. That got the attention of more cop-like guards and we ended up moving to avoid getting tossed. That kind of ruined the night for us a bit, so the show has an asterisk in my mind. Would like to see them under better circumstances.

I think the other lead guitarist is Pat, too.

^Security duty AND playing guitar with teh Wilcos? Impressive, Pat. Very impressive. On a side note--keep your grubby guitar hands off my friend's wife or you're going to get TOTALLY DESTROYED!!!

Old Settler's Line Up is great. I am a long shot, but am considering going.

^ I finally got around to watching him on Colbert this weekend - thought he was great. Does he ever play with a full band?

I think he does occasionally (I've seen some clips), but Blaze would probably be better equipped to answer that question.
