Seeing Mr. Farrar later this month. We are heading to Austin for Memorial Day weekend and the music well is dry. May go see Bob Schneider while we are there, but that's only because we can't go to Austin and not see some kind of music!

It was around 2 hours but he only played 12 songs. I think DBTR is on Youtube. It was pretty epic, but all the same, I kinda wish he would've shortened the song by maybe 15 minutes and given me a few more of my favorites. I still got to see one of my heroes, though so I'm happy either way.

Pretty sure any night at the Continental Club/Saxon Pub, etc. will do you right! Enjoy!

Man, Built to Spill killed it Tuesday night. Anybody ever seen them live? It was pretty awesome...made all the better by the fact it was a club show from one of my favorite bands.

She asked me if I knew how
I told her, "I don't think so, anymore"

Somehow they actually played in Baton Rouge and I had to miss it. Instant regret.

Paying grown up prices to see Sturgill, Dixie Chicks and Dolly in August and September. $10 altcountry shows at dive bars have spoiled me, but I was willing to shell out the dough for these three.

Saw Hiss Golden Messenger last night in Portland ME at One Longfellow Square, Perfect venue, well attended, MC sounded great, voice in fine form.

Seen them a ton of times, but since we moved to Boise, seeing them live is awesome. They play in small clubs a lot, and they just seem to have a lot more fun playing here.

In last few days I saw the Deslondes, Ultimate Painting and Futurebirds. The Birds didn't have the steel player with them and it was still a killer show. They have grown a lot as musicians, and without the steel player there, there were plenty of sweet guitar solos. And they played at one of those "Alive After Five" things, which meant it was free and nobody had ever heard them. It took the crowd about an hour to understand that this wasn't a mediocre blues rock band. Finally, they played Powderfinger and the place went fucking nuts. I'm sure they left town with quite a few new fans.

We just got tix to see him in Atlantic City in October. Have seen him live more than any other band/artist - love him. Never been to Atlantic City...

That's awesome - I've never seen him before and he's one of my favorite artists so I'm pretty pumped.
