This would make a great occasion to finally fall off the wagon and turn into Aunt Bee for a few days.

I sent this link to a friend who loves Blackberry Smoke and he talked his wife into going who then talked to my wife saying that we were all going on a cruise together.nacho wrote:This would make a great occasion to finally fall off the wagon and turn into Aunt Bee for a few days.

We've done the Cayamo cruise for 9 years (singer songwriter mainly), which precedes the Outlaw Country (same production company). This year about 1/3 of those playing on Outlaw Country were actually holdovers from Cayamo.

We have two groups of friends paid up and ready to board this ship.
I continue to stall until it sells out so I can't go.
(Being trapped on a boat, any boat, sounds like a specific and dangerous type of hell to me.)

My feelings on cruises are similar, though I have never been on one. I fear it will resemble living in an airport for 4 days.

Thanks, Track11 - Never considered cruises before this and totally love it (9 years later). Never a feeling of being trapped. Always something going on. It is my favorite music festival (yes, I consider it to be a music festival)! From getting to chat with Steve Earle at 6:00 in the morning about nothing in particular to playing Let it Ride with Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires, to standing Ed Roland up to play guitar on December, what could be better?!?
