Skipped a bit and then re-formed right over the town where I was born. Amory.
Rolling Fork and surrounding communities of the Delta were completely obliterated last night.
It's pretty fuckin bad. I follow r/tornado and other avenues and storm chasers say they are walking away from the "thrill" of the chase after what they witnessed last night. Families just mangled in an instant- flayed into trees. Their dogs out, hurt, looking for help for their people. Just fuckin heartbreaking. Mental images you never forget.
I've grown all too familiar with these goddamn tornadoes. I personally saw something in the 1989 Huntsville, AL that I'd rather not get fully into. A person can be minced. A person can also be fried inside a Pontiac.
What I have learned is to say FUCK FUCK FUCK The common rules. Don't get into a closet. Don't get into a bathroom. If it's coming at you, get in your fuckin car and just drive away perpendicular to it's track.
Contrary to popular belief from movies and bullshit, they generally track a straight line. They don't squirrelly whirrly all over the place and change direction. The only way a tornado survives is within it's cone of pressure differentials and we can track that now. Just go perpenfuckindicular as far as you can away from it's track. Get the fuck away from it. Fuck your house. Just take YOU away from it. If somehow it does get you in the car, drive off into the ditch. I don't know about your ride, but my shitbox is an entire cocoon engineered by Japanese men. JAPANESE MEN, GIME, not 10 year/30,000 mile warranty Koreans, idiot! I watched all of M.A.S.H.!
Why in the blue fuck do you keep buying these ting tong halfcars? BeCAusE ItHaSaWarRanTY! BUY A FUCKIN TOYOTA and sprint away from the shitwinds forever, moron.
In the case that you give a damn... Mississippi Delta was hit hard last night.
