:shock:My love for KNOPFLER came to a halt immediately after the Love over Gold's album so to say that what came after was at my opinion a very safe&commercial production!

Aside from Sultans of Swing and that "I Want My MTV" song (that was him, right?), I don't really know his music. But he did have a song that was played on the Americana channel ad naseum about a year ago called "Boom Like That," which is an awesome song, if for no other reason than the title.

Mark Knopfler, IMO, has a great voice and some serious guitar chops to boot....saw hima few years back on his "Sailing to Philadelphia" tour, but there were six guitarists on stage, which I thought was terrible as the man has fingers that can stop a bus.....I really have always enjoyed a little "Man's too Strong" or the whole "Brothers In Arms" album.....Never a bad word about the Knopfler from me.
Troublemakin' woman's gonna mess me all around...
