Saddle Up with Orville Peck

Orville Peck – Sunday, July 31, 2022 – PNE Amphitheatre, Vancouver, BC

Orville Peck, who went to high school in Vancouver, headlined the first annual Happyland Festival, a fully inclusive Pride celebration festival at PNE Amphitheatre.

Orvile Peck is the alter ego of Daniel Pitout, a South African–born Canadian musician who has gone from punk drummer to stage actor to the world’s most mysterious cowboy crooner.

He drove from Vancouver to Toronto in 2018, where he started his transformation into Orville Peck. His debut album Pony (Royal Mountain/Sub Pop) was released in March 2019. His brooding baritone evokes greats like Roy Orbison and Chris Isaak. He’s now signed with Columbia Records and released the excellent Bronco last April.
