Blue Rodeo
PNE Amphitheatre, August 21, 2022, Vancouver, BC
Last night’s performance of Blue Rodeo was one of their best, especially with the newest addition to the band, multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Bowskill of the Sheepdogs. In 2013, Colin Cripps officially entered the band when Greg Keelor could no longer play electric guitar due to a painful ear condition. Cripps has been a member ever since.
left to right – Bazil Donovan (bass), multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Bowskill, Michael Boguski (keyboards/accordion), Greg Keelor (acoustic guitar).
The highlight of the night was the stunning cover of Lee Hazlewood’s two-and-a-half minute song The Railroad that lasted for 7 minutes.
Here’s Blue Rodeo performing the song in 2018.
