West Virginia-born and music-industry darling Sierra Ferrell performed to a near sell-out crowd at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver.

The gifted vocalist has been categorized as indie folk, Americana, and roots, but her music more like classic country. The Nashville-based singer-songwriter really put on a show and among the prominent stars.

Nick Shoulders of Fayetteville, Arkansas and his band, the Okay Crawdad, opened with a great 40-minute set.
