Anybody got any tips on how to get notes and bends to sustain a long time? I've tried cranking up the reverb/gain, but I dunno. I can play a lot of the licks on this track, but can't get the sound right:

What kind of guitar are you using? Amp? Pedals?

Getting your guitar set up well can help.

Maybe a compression/limiter pedal?

If you want sustain without distortion a compression pedal is the way to go.

A hollow or semi-hollow and volume works too.

Sounds like a good amount of delay, too.

Sorry guys. I'm not rocking anything special: an Epiphone SG pro. I think my problem is my amp. It's nothing fancy. I think my next step is to get a tube amp.
