i have to say this was the best magnolia elec co show i have ever seen. they kept such a mellow mood all the way through it. jason groth's guitar playing was really bad ass.
the only up beat song they did was the last one that j. molina rewrote the words from 'move it on over' for a halloween theme. they only played it in austin and oklahoma. "move it on over because my babe is a skeleton"
i wished i remembered more of the words but some went as followed.
"i take her dancin twice a week but we can't leave until we find her feet"
"she puts her head on the floor when we sleep, she says baby that's so you can't hear me snore"
something about keeping her around because she's cheap to feed.
good stuff.
