I was skeptical about this body that would make my daddy cry...but nope, that's pretty accurate.

Definite album of the year contender for me. I already like it more than anything from 2014. Now I've got to try not to overplay it...

All the acoustic parts sounds the same. Beach guitar strumming over lush production.
Is this one of those albums that's so bad it's good?

Sounds like a modern day John Lennon album to me. Sounds great so far.

Is that a rhetorical question?

How about this one:
Would you like me to ram my arm up your ass, and operate you like a Muppet?

Honestly, barely realized there's acoustic guitar on this album.

That's the best opening line on one of the bonus tracks of the deluxe edition.

I'm way into this. Sorry if it pisses some you off but in terms of ACT history I'll run this into the ground to PW Folker levels. Oh wait, we changed our name too, so f u. Gorgeous. Album of the year. Love is what music is about.

Really? People are loving this? This is terrible. Nobody can write songs anymore. I Love You, Honeybear. Hehe.

Talk about getting ripped off. Father John Misty is ripping you off with this album just like Brent is without an album. Hehe.

Hehe. It's bad. Tillman does a bad Beach Boys album.

I'll give it a few more tries.
If my ACT history tells me anything this will be my #1 by year end.

"Fear Fun" is better to these ears.

"True Affection" might be my favorite song on the album....because it is different and changes up the sonic palette.

Not sure if I dig the braggadocious lyrics of "Thirsty Cow". Kind of an annoying "my girlfriend/wife is great" song.

Recent ACT darling comparison: I feel like Jason Isbell navigated the waters of "I'm in love and happy now!" better lyrically.
“What is it about a beautiful sunny afternoon, with the birds singing and the wind rustling through the leaves, that makes you want to get drunk?”
