^and that was in the bottom of the 9th with a one run lead.

Everyone outside of KC seems to act like Infante sucks, but this is a good example of why he's a valuable piece of the team.

well Infante is still the worst player in the line up for KC, but that play was sick.

Not sure I agree with that, mobi. Take Infante out and watch the defense suffer. Plus he's come up with some huge hits this year. I'd say Moustakas and Rios are less important than Infante.

I hate the second WildCard but I love the flurry of trades that are happening.

That was an amazing play, and a demonstration of the confidence and fun the Royals are playing with every day - they've got it all. I like watching them play, except for those pesky 18 times a year against C.

Price was a big pickup, as was Tulo. Jays going for broke this year - should be fun to watch.

What's App conversation at lunch time

OJ: OMG. You don't care for this but the Jays just traded for a great pitcher. If they go to the World Series in October, I'm flying to Toronto to be part of the celebration.

Wife: I don't know what to say to that right now.

OJ: Hehe. You Vegas, Me Taranta.

Wife: Haha, what about a trip together?

OJ: Sure. Toronto.

This is as excited as I've been about the Jays since Carter hit the walk off...

So, they're seven games behind the Yankees, and two games out of a wild card spot. A wild card spot seems realistic, but I still see the Yankees winning the division.

Toronto has 13 games remaining against New York. 7 games is certainly not insurmountable with 60 games remaining.
