Im a Bastard (NEW)

Post by Max Power »

Recorded this morning with friends in Cedar Rapids.

I played Elec. and acoustic rythym geetar. My HS friend Kyle played bass and lead guitar and Erik Marshall of the Meerkats played drums. It was a good time.

Its up on myspace.

Good work, Max. I'm impressed by and jealous of your tunes. I hope you keep up this jag of writing and recording

sounds really awesome!!

you really seem to have what it takes to front a band...my friend. Just find some cronies to back you....or get the guys on this recording to do it!! They sound great!!

I hope you like the results....if you ever needed something to send out to a label or something....this track would be the way to go.

I really liked it although I was hoping for a vocal harmony in the chorus, it was in my head everytime it came around.

I like Mucsle Cars and Ninja Stars, awesome line

We were hoping for one as well but we ran out of tracks.. lol. KYle was going to harmonize during the chorus. The electric guitars were double mic'ed using 2 tracks and there was no ability to do punch ins so we had to use an extra track to fix something... by the end we had one track left and the acoustic guitar left. That was my understanding anyway. The next ones we do will have some of that.

if you do another one there should be more fighting and bottles breaking in the background. Legitimate...not sampled...of course. Then you can put up pictures of the aftermath in the studio.
