Wow, that's so cool! I haven't heard a song from the new Foo record, but looking forward to it. Very cool to have Bob on the new album!

Thought that was pretty cool. I wonder if Bob notes the similarities between Dave and Grant (drummers turned singers/songwriters, similar sounding voices at times, etc)?

Yeah, I've always heard a bit of Grant Hart's voice in Dave Grohl. I hope Bob gets a big paycheck and some exposure for playing on the new Foo. Can't wait to hear the album.

Re: Foo Fighters Secret shows w/ Bob Mould
I remember back when "Learn To Fly" came out, Bob was doing solo tours and made the comment several times that the first time he heard that song he thought it was Grant singing. This was also I think the same tour where Bob said on several occasions "Is Madonna getting better or am I getting more gay" or something to that effect.
Sandu, are we the only ones with love for this Foo/Bob collab?

I'm sure Rowsdower, paulhead and some others are pumped about it too. Just for some reason this forum doesn't get a lot of traffic. I think they're talking about the new Foo album in another thread.
